2022 Indie Author Review Program Selections

In this inaugural year of the Indie Author Review Program, I was humbled by the number of nominations I received. As they came in, I attempted to choose which ones I would focus on. It was not an easy decision as there are so many great books out there which do not get the attention they deserve. Some things that influenced my decision include: the Look Inside feature of the book (if available), description, and number of prior reviews (some books need more help).

The goal of the Program is to buy and read at least 12 books by Indie authors and post reviews on Goodreads, LibraryThing, Amazon.com, and this blog. These books are also promoted through my Semi-Not-Horribly-Regular Newsletter and via social media. I have added additional features to most reviews (e.g., interviews with the author, articles about a pertinent topic, etc.).

A Few Notes

  • The purpose of this program is to buy, read, review AND promote the below selections
  • These are NOT one-for-one reviews (meaning: I did not trade reviews)
  • There was ZERO cost to the author
  • The selections were read in the order in which I received the nomination

While I also review other books throughout the year, these are the 12 that I focused on the most (and first). As reviews are posted, I added the links here (and elsewhere).
